Reccoo LMS is a custom-built learning management system created as an extension of Reccoo’s bespoke training program for midsized companies. Designed to support both recent graduates and mid-career professionals, the LMS offers personalized learning paths, progress tracking, and mobile accessibility to streamline onboarding and employee development.

Summary

Reccoo needed a scalable, engaging LMS to power its new training initiatives. The platform had to serve a diverse audience with varying learning needs and technical comfort, while also offering HR teams actionable insights into employee growth.

As Lead UI/UX Designer, I guided the project from early discovery through to usability testing and MVP launch—crafting an intuitive, user-centered platform that now plays a central role in Reccoo’s employee development strategy.

Challenge

Engaging a Diverse Workforce While Preparing for Scale

The core challenge was creating a system that could:

  • Accommodate multiple user personas, from recent grads to seasoned professionals.

  • Foster consistent engagement, especially for younger users accustomed to digital interactivity.

  • Scale for future needs, supporting everything from onboarding to upskilling initiatives.

  • Serve as a reliable HR tool for tracking, managing, and evolving employee learning journeys.

At the heart of this was the need to make learning both accessible and motivating, while adapting to ever-changing internal goals and tight resource constraints.

A Modular, User-Centered Platform with a Flexible Core

To address these challenges, we designed a platform that:

  • Supports personalized learning paths tailored to user career stages.

  • Provides an engaging UI with gamified elements, modern design, and mobile compatibility.

  • Includes robust admin dashboards for HR to manage, track, and evaluate learner progress.

  • Allows for ongoing iteration based on real-time analytics and user feedback.

Our agile design approach and continuous user testing ensured the product could evolve with the organization’s needs.

Discovery & Research

Information Architecture & Wireframes

  • Defined clear content flow across learning paths, dashboards, and progress tracking.

  • Created wireframes to validate navigation and course completion flows.

Visual Design & System

  • Delivered a clean, vibrant interface with easy-to-read typography and scalable components.

  • Established a reusable design system to streamline development and ensure consistency.

Usability Testing

  • Ran iterative tests with users and HR teams, making refinements for clarity, motivation, and discoverability.

  • Incorporated feedback loops into the post-launch phase to support continuous improvement.
